Early Scent Introduction
(ESI)
We start this also at day 3 and it continues through day 16.
Expert believe that days 3-16 of a puppy's life is a time of rapid neurological growth and development. ESI helps jumpstart the brain.
Puppies are raised in our home.
We hold and love on them each day. They are part of our family and we would not have it any other way.
Deworming and Vaccinations
We have recently started doing our own deworming but all vaccinations are done at our veterinarian's office. Deworming happens every 2 weeks starting at 2 weeks old up to 8 weeks. Vaccinations are given at 6 and 8 weeks old.
Potty Training
We start potty training at 3 weeks old with a potty station. This helps in the long term process of potty training. We move to outside (weather permitted) at 6 weeks. Most of our puppies go home potty trained with little to no accidents at forever homes.
Weaning Process
We start the weaning process at 4 weeks with puppies starting to have a soft food introduced which is a formula and baby cereal mixture, over the next 2 weeks we move them into hard food. At 6 weeks they are fully weaned from Mom and are eating hard food fully.
